Documentation
Definition
In the case of child benefit or training bonuses, the indicator controls the basis of comparison between cantonal and company rules.
If the indicator is not set, the bonus for each child is considered individually. That is, the bonus amount will be calculated according to both rules for each child. The higher amount is paid out.
If the indicator is set, the total child benefit (for all children) will be calculated once, according to canton rules, and once according to the company's own rules, with the result that an only child may receive a higher bonus according to the higher rule.
Supplementary Documentation - P02Z_KZFAK0001
Use
On what basis, in the case of child/trainee bonus, the comparison between cantonal and internal company regulations is carried out, is controlled by the indicator.
When the indicator is not set then each child will be looked at in isolation. The bonus amount will be calculated, for each child according to both regulations and whichever is the highest will be paid.
When the indicator is set, the general child bonus (for all children) will be calculated once at cantonal rate and once at internal company rate. The higher of these two will be paid out. Therefore an only child will receive a higher bonus according to the alternative arrangement.
Supplementary Documentation - P02Z_KZFAK0002
Use
If a fixed payment percentage for family bonuses is entered for a child, the calculated bonus amount is not reduced according to the amount of hours worked by the employee.
However, if a reduction is still called for, the amount can be explicitly activated by the indicator.
