Definition
This is a 4-digit municipality number that corresponds with the municipality directory for the Swiss Federal Statistical Office.
The information is from the tax calculation table ST, which uses the municipality number from the Fiscal Data CH (0038) infotype.
The municipality generally refers to the municipality of residence. The only exceptions to this are cross-border employees, for whom the municipality of work is specified.
