Definition
A maximum of nine contribution levels (beginning with one) can be assigned to each application key and each grouping.
Each level has a maximum wage limit up until which the contribution is calculated.
If you want to impose further limits on certain contribution levels, it has the following effects:
No contribution calculation on the basis of differences
The entire wage up unil the limit of the contribution level is taken as the basis for contribution calculation
The delimitation on the contribution level is useful in this case.
Contribution calculation based on differences
The contribution is calculated using that part of the wage that lies over the limit of the of the previous level up until the limit of the level in question.
Imposing a limit on this contribution level is only partially necessary as only a part of the entire wage used for contribution calculation is processed on the list.
