Documentation
Definition
This indicator shows that the contribution level is only maintained for technical reasons (for example, the lowest level for supplementary insurance where the wage is only subject to contributions starting at a certain limit). In other words, economically speaking, this is not a wage liable to contribution and therefore cannot be identified as such.
Use
When you set this indicator, the wage of this level is saved from that point on as an interim result in the internal technical wage type in order to calculate the wage for the next level. However, in the corresponding revision-relevant wage type for the payroll account and in year-end accounting for the insurer, the contribution no longer shows up as insured wage.
