Definition

The payroll units with the same grouping for the UVG [Accident Insurance Law] are used for uniform treatment regarding premiums.

Injury classes are defined through different groupings for the UVG.

Different contribution rates, which are based on the employee's assignment to a payroll unit, can be valid for employees grouped together under the personnel subgroup "production" as defined in Social Insurance CH infotype (0036)

The priciple of extra premiums and reduced premiums according to the catalog of risks set out by the SUVA [Swiss Accident Insurance Institute] is thus represented in the SAP system.
