Definition
Payroll units with the same grouping for social insurance are reviewed for the calculation of social insurance, and are treated in the same way for the following points:
- Calculation logic
- Wage types used
- Constants used
If the relevant social insurance components are calculated for the payroll unit, an entry with the same grouping for social insurance must exist in the viewcluster HRCHSV_STANDARD (Basic settings for SI).
The following groupings for social insurance are used in the standard system:
- 0 = Calculation of internal groupings
- 1 = Calculation of statutory components (for example, AHV, UI, IA)
- 2 = Calculation of statutory components that are not valid for Switzerland as a whole (for example, social funds)
- 3 = Calculation of voluntary components (for example, per diem sickness indemnity, voluntary insurance)
- 99 = No calculation
Notes
In the case of insurance, the grouping for social insurance has no influence on the level of the contributions. These are dependent on the Grouping for insurance and the Grouping for AIL.
