Definition
You have changed the feature belonging to one of the application keys UVG, AL, KT or UEB so that a different payroll unit will be provided for certain personnel numbers.
Certain payroll relevant information (for example UVG contribution rates) is linked to the payroll units. Thus please check if a change is really necessary using the following cases:
- You have performed payroll accounting for 1998 and would like to adjust your payroll units in line with an organizational change in your company from 1999: In this case do not change the feature belonging to the application key, but create a new feature and delimit the feature assignment according to time.
- You have performed payroll accounting for 1998 and now realise that the assignment of employees to payroll units was incorrect. Changing the feature was, in this case, necessary to ensure the correct employee assignment. Furthermore, decide: The change does not affect payroll accounting, which means there are purely organizational changes: You can use the annual evaluation created.
- The change affects payroll accounting, in that, according to the new assignment to payroll units, other UVG contributions or other insurance contributions would be calculated: in this case it is essential to run retroactive accounting.
