Definition

This gross wage includes the following wage types:

  • All basic pay
  • All payments in kind
  • Premium, sales, and commission shares paid out regularly

The gross wage does not include the following wage types:

  • Shift bonuses, night shift bonuses, bonuses for Sunday work, or other bonuses for hazardous or unpleasant work
  • Earnings from overtime
  • 13th (14th or nth) monthly wage
  • Special payments (non-regular payments such as holiday bonus, special premiums, profit sharing, and so on)
  • Family-related bonuses and child benefit
  • Remuneration for vacation not taken
  • Reimbursement of expenses
  • Compensation for reduced working hours
