Documentation
Definition
Monthly amount to which the recipient is entitled.
This amount is usually the same as the amount paid (P02_FMZR_AL_BETRG field). Only in the case of retroactive corrections does the amount paid differ from the theoretical monthly entitlement.
Use
Dependencies
The amount is based on the cantonal regulation. You have specified calculation of the family-related bonuses in Customizing under Payroll: Switzerland -> Family Allowances -> Adjust Family Allowances.
Example
An employee is paid child benefit to the amount of CHF 100 monthly since February 1, 2009. On January 31, 2012, the child exceeds the age limit for child benefits.
The overall monthly report for January 2010 (period 01/2010) contains the following information:
From To Amount
eventDate: January 31, 2010
allowance(theoretical entitlement) February 1, 2009.... January 31, 2012.... CHF 100
allowancePeriod (payment amount) January 1, 2010.... January 31, 2010.... CHF 100
After the payroll run has been triggered, it transpires that the entitlement amount was incorrect (for example, CHF 150 less than it should be). The master data is corrected and takes effect as of January 1, 2010. In the payroll run for 02/2010, the employee is automatically paid 250 CHF (February entitlement) + CHF 150 (retroactivepayment for January) = CHF 400.
The overall monthly report for January 2010 (period 01/2010) contains two XML substructures with the same bonus reference number for the child. The differences between the XML substructures are the dates specified and the amount for the payment period.
From To Amount
eventDate: February 28, 2010
Retroactive payment for January:
allowance(theoretical entitlement) February 1, 2009.... January 31, 2012.... CHF 250

Entitlement for February:
allowance(theoretical entitlement) February 01, 2009.... January 31, 2012.... CHF 250
allowancePeriod (payment amount) February 01, 2010.... February 28, 2010.... CHF 250
