Documentation

Definition

Here you specify the date until which the recipient is entitled to a bonus.

You can determine the end date for the bonus entitlement as follows:

  • Child benefit: end date of the month of birth; year = year of birth + 16
  • Child benefit for a child permanently unable to work: end date of the month of birth; year = year of birth + 20
  • Training bonus: estimated end of training
(at the latest: end date of the month of birth; year = year of birth + 25)

For bonuses paid after the birth of a child and adoption bonuses, you do not need to specify a date since the system determines this automatically.

For one-off bonuses, the start and end dates are the same.

When an employee leaves a company, the end date for the bonus entitlement is the leaving date of the employee.

Use

The date is required for the notification to the family equalization fund.

The data extractor for creating the notification reads the date from the payroll result. The notification based on eAHV/IV standard format contains the date in the XML tag <allowanceDateTo>.

Dependencies

Example

  • The recipient receives child benefit for a child born on January 1, 2000 for 15 years. The child turns 16 in January 2016. Entitlement ends on January 31, 2016.
  • The location of the same recipient changes from Bern to Zurich on June 1, 2012. Due to the organizational change, a different family equalization fund is responsible as of this date. You delimit the record in infotype 21 and adjust the details for the start and end dates of both records:
    • The entitlement with the Bern family equalization fund ends on May 31, 2012.
    • The entitlement with the Zurich family equalization fund starts on June 1, 2012.
