Definition

You must set this indicator if you wish to pay part of the year-end bonus, when an employee leaves the company.

If, due to an organizational change, an employee changes year-end bonus grouping, and if different calculation regulations apply for the old and new grouping, this is then treated as a retirement and re-employment.

This possibility only exists for the variants 1 and 3, which enable you to ascertain the basis for payment. The variants are:

• Creation of average wage
• Period wage projected for the period of examination.

Example

1. The full bonus is paid out in October. The employee leaves the company at the end of November.
• Indicator set: The employee must repay part of the year-end bonus
• Indicator not set: The employee keeps the full year-end bonus.
2. The full year-end bonus is paid in October. The employee leaves the company at the end of August.
• Indicator set: The employee receives a proportion of the year-end bonus.
• Indicator not set: The employee does not receive a year-end bonus.
