Documentation
Definition
A payroll unit is a grouping of employees according to certain organizational criteria relative to the subapplication of payroll.
Depending on the subapplication, the payroll unit is used for various functions. For example, it is used to ensure the same processing of employees for payroll (AHV/ALV, UVG), to produce the same output in the evaluation report (AHV/ALV, UVG, ASM, BFS) or to control the proposal of the same default values for infotypes (FAK, LAW).
Features are used to group the employees in the different payroll units. The features allow the grouping of employees according to various organizational criteria.
For the application key KFO, employees are grouped using the feature CHFIS.
Using the payroll unit KFO, you control whether one of the employer amounts for the adjustment fund in the canton of Vaud is calculated.
Notes
As of 01.01.2007, the amounts must be calculated for the payroll units that belong to the canton of Vaud. Form the payroll units using these criteria.
