Documentation
Definition
Maximum wait time (in seconds) for the confirmation from the target systems.
Use
For distributing inbound notifications to different systems and clients.
The notifications are transferred simultaneously to all specified RFC connections where they are assigned. Once it has finished processing the notifications, each target system confirms whether they were assigned successfully.
This parameter specifies a time limit for the confirmation. RFC connections that have not issued a confirmation after this period are regarded as interrupted and are listed in the error log for the report.
The unassigned inbound notifications are not marked as processed in the initial system and are selected again the next time the report is run.
Dependencies
A practical value for this parameter depends on the expected response times in the target systems, that is, essentially on the number of personnel numbers in the target system and the number of inbound notifications to be processed.
