Use

You specify whether the fixed-term contract was agreed in writing.

The fixed-term of an employment relationship can generally only be effective if agreed in writing in accordance with Section 14 Paragraph 4 Law for Part-Time and Fixed-Term Work Contracts (TzBfG). If this written requirement is not fulfilled, then the employment relationship cannot effectively be ended.
