Documentation
Definition
In this field, you specify whether the employment relationship was terminated or ended by the employer, by the employee, by a termination contract, or by virtue of a law or collective agreement.
The following values are possible:
Value Dismissal/Termination of Employment Relationship #
1 By the employer
2 By the employee. The employer would not have otherwise terminated the relationship or not at that point in time.
3 By the employee. The employer would have otherwise terminated the relationship at that point in time.
4 By a termination contract. The employer would not have otherwise terminated the relationship or not at that point in time.
5 By a termination contract. The employer would have otherwise terminated the relationship at that point in time.
6 By virtue of law or collective agreement
9 Termination is canceled
For values 3 and 5, the employer must specify the reasons for the intended termination as this may hinder a lock time being incurred due to giving up work. If the employer would have terminated the employee anyway, this can be seen as a valid reason for the employee to terminate the relationship.
