Definition
The state of the master data before and after a notification from the health insurance funds has been processed is saved.
Use
When a notification is sent from the health insurance fund to the paying office, adjustments may have to be made to the master data as of a certain date. First, the current master data is saved as a before image. Then the changes are made to the master data before it is saved as an after image.
If the health insurance fund then sends a reversal for this notification, the master data must be returned to its original state. First, the system checks whether the master data still matches the after image. If this is the case, it is returned to the state of the before image.
