Definition

This field indicates whether there are special features to be taken into consideration for the employee when determining the accident insurance data.

Use

The following attributes are possible:

  • A - Exempt from Insurance Due to Foreign Assignment

    The employee is not subject to AI due to a foreign assignment.

    In payroll, no WCA gross amount is determined. In DEUEV notifications in the data module DBUV (Accident Insurance), the special feature reason B02 (No AI Obligation Due to Foreign Assignment) is reported.

  • B - Exempt from Insurance According to SGB VII

    The employee is not subject to AI according to SGB VII.

    In payroll, no WCA gross amount is determined. In DEUEV notifications in the data module DBUV (Accident Insurance), the special feature reason B023 (Exempt from Insurance in AI According to SGB VII) is reported.

  • C - Exempt from Insurance for Other Reasons

    The employee is not subject to AI because one of the following conditions applies:

    • Irrevocable release from work
    • Study time during a dual practice-oriented course.

      In payroll, no WCA gross amount is determined. In DEUEV notifications in the data module DBUV (Accident Insurance), the reason for special feature B09 (Other Circumstance That Do Not Require AI Remuneration in the Notification) is reported.

  • X - Not Subject to AI (Old)

    This is an infotype record that was created when the field still had the meaning Not WCA-Liable and was a checkbox.

    In payroll, no WCA gross amount is determined. In newly created DEUEV notifications, this value is interpreted as A (Exempt from Insurance Due to Foreign Assignment) and reported with the special feature reason B02 (No AI Obligation Due to Foreign Assignment).
