Documentation
Definition
The object ID serves as a feature for distinguishing between
objects of the same type.
Object ID's should not be used mnemonically in PD.
You can also determine the business event location ID with the search function. In order to do this the user can enter a search string (if necessary generic) directly in this field. By entering an asterisk (*) you can obtain a list of all available business event locations;
By entering *XYZ* you can obtain a list of all business event locations which contain the string XYZ in their identification code or in the long text.
For transaction PP18 (Plan internal business event):
If the SEMIN ORT switch in table 77S0 is set at 1, you should enter a business event location ID or obtain one using the search function.
If the switch is set at 0, you are not necessarily required to enter a business event location, but you may. If a business event location is entered, it is taken into account during planning.
