Definition
The organization object is a concept from the Personnel Planning and Development area. Organizational units, jobs, positions etc. are included under this designation.
You can link such an object with the financial calendar schedule, which allows you to look at the schedules of any object-dependent organizational units.
An organizational structure of this kind must be created in Personnel Planning and Development for this purpose, with a corresponding staffing schedule. If you link a managerial position with such an organizational unit, the person allocated can view schedules for dependent organization objects.
If an organization from Personnel Planning and Development is not used, only the selected schedule will be displayed.
The allocation to an organizational unit also affects the selection of the users who are reached via the workflow. You can only send the workflow task to members of your organizational unit. If, however, you do not enter any organizational unit, you can send the workflow task to all users who are connected to it, no matter which organizational unit they belong to.
