Definition
Pctfree (Pf) indicates the amount of storage space of a data block, table or index that is available for later updates. This area is not used when new data is added. It should be seen in the context of Pctused (Pu). The sum of both values may not exceed 100 and may be corrected.
Changes to this parameter become effective immediately, but existing data blocks are not reorganized by the application.
