Documentation
Definition
This check box indicates that the attribute is an area attribute, that is, you can enter an area instead of a single value.
When you are searching for this attribute in the organizational structure, all organizational objects are found for all values that are between the lower- and upper limit.
If no upper limit is specified, the value is interpreted as a single value.
Be careful when maintaining character fields, as the check is carried out based on the sorting sequence of the system language. Errors may occur in check results if the attribute values have been maintained in different languages.
You can also make generic entries in character fields, for example, you can enter '*', which can stand for any number of characters.
