Definition

An attribute in attribute maintenance is a key, under which any number of values can be saved.

As well as a name, an attribute has the following characteristics:

• DDic reference
1. Reference to a table field
Field characteristics are determined from the data dictionary, by entering a reference structure and a reference field.
If one is available, the corresponding search help is determined from this and a text is read.
2. Reference to a BOR object
The reference refers to an object type from the Business Object Repository.The attribute can contain corresponding object keys.
• Indicator: Attribute is area attribute
• Indicator: Attribute has multiple values
• Attribute text
