Definition
Organizational level 1 is the company code.
A way to subdivide a company code is to use the concept of organizational levels. This breakdown reflects the way that many oil and gas companies organize themselves, for reporting purposes. Subdividing a company code in this manner is useful, for reporting purposes, in order to allow reporting at a level lower than company code level.
- Organizational level 1 corresponds to the company code.
- Organizational level 2 corresponds to a region.
- Organizational level 3 corresponds to a division.
- Organizationl level 4 corresponds to a district.
You can define the organizational levels two (2) through four (4) as required. Generally organizational levels two through four are used to represent a geographical area.
In Payment Processing, the company code represents the company for which the system will generate the checks.
