Documentation
Definition
In this object, you define the customs office through which you send, purchase, or transport your goods. The customs offices are identified by a unique code. These codes are provided by the responsible authorities.
Use
These entries are used to determine export and import data for foreign trade statistics.
Procedure
- The code you need to enter here depends on your location. For example, in the EU you enter the code of the harbor or airport in your country where the goods will cross the border and are loaded onto the active mode of transport (or are unloaded from it).
- In the USA, you enter the code that corresponds to the American export harbor assigned in the Schedule D directory.
