Definition

This parameter controls whether at the time of the upper time interval specified (usually the balance sheet key date) a comparison is performed and the exchange rate used. The following entries are possible:

  • A

    No comparison, this means that all documents in foreign currency are included in the market price determination at their original exchange rates (default setting).

  • B

    Comparison with the average rate, this means that if the average price at the time of the upper time limit specified leads to a lower price for foreign currency documents, the lower price is used for determining the market price instead of the original exchange rate.

  • C

    Comparison with the bank selling rate, the bank buying rate, and the average rate, this means that if at least one of these rates at the time of the upper time limit specified leads to a lower price for foreign currency documents, the lowest price is used for determining the market price instead of the original exchange rate.

  • D

    No comparison is made and the exchange rate valid on the document date is used.

  • E

    No comparison is made and the exchange rate valid on the date when the program is executed is used.
