Definition
Number that defines how documents are numbered by the system. It indicates which number range is used for an object type.
Use
When you create an object using internal number assignment, the system assigns it a number from the appropriate number range.
Procedure
- Find out which internal number ranges are reserved for the corresponding object. To do this, please select the function 'Maintain number range' for the object.
- Choose a number range and note its number.
- Enter the number of the number range you have chosen.
