Definition
NUMCPUVPS is a value found in the ONCONFIG* parameter file located in the $INFORMIXDIR/etc directory. It specifies to online the number of virtual processors of the cpu class to run. On a single processor CPU you should only allocate one CPU virtual processor. On a multiprocessor, you should not allocate more CPU virtual processors than there are CPUs on the computer.
