Documentation
Definition
Number of comparison periods with which the current consumption is to be compared.
Use
This value is used in the following dependent validations:
- 05: Cosine phi in relation to previous period
- 06: Consumption ratio in relation to previous period
This value is used in the following independent validations:
5 - 7: Tolerance limits (absolute, relative and floating)
Example
- Base period category = Previous period
- Period length = 1 month
- Number of comparison periods = 6
The system compares current consumption with the consumption values from the last six months. If the current consumption lies within the tolerance limits of the consumption from one of the comparison periods, the meter reading result is judged to be plausible.
