Documentation
Definition
Number of personnel numbers, four-character.
Supplementary Documentation - NOPNR 0001
Use
The number of personnel numbers determines how many personnel numbers are included in any one background job. If the number of personnel numbers does not divide up evenly, the remainder are assigned to the job that was created last.
Procedure
It is unfortunately not possible to recommend a suitable number here as this is largely dependent on the system configuration.
Examples
The number specified is 500.
You use the payroll program variant to determine which/how many personnel numbers are selected from the database. Let us assume in this example that 1057 personnel numbers are selected.
The system then creates two groups of 500 personnel numbers and one group of 57 personnel numbers.
Dependencies
You may specify either the number of personnel numbers per job, or the number of jobs to be created. You cannot specify both at the same time.
Supplementary Documentation - NOPNR 0002
Use
The amount of personnel numbers specifies how many personnel numbers are processed in one job. If the total personnel numbers cannot be divided up exactly among the number of jobs, the job last created is assigned the remaining personnel numbers.
Procedure
We are unfortunately unable to recommend a suitable number here as this is mainly dependent on the system configuration.
Examples
The number entered is 500.
The evaluation program variant determines which and how many personnel numbers are selected by the database. Let us assume that the number of personnel numbers selected is 1057.
This means that two sets of 500 personnel numbers and one set of 57 personnel numbers are created.
In other words, we have started a total of three jobs in this example
Dependencies
You may specify either the number of personnel numbers per job, or the number of jobs to be created. You cannot specify both at the same time.
