Definition
If this flag is selected, runtime objects are generated in inactive form. Unlike the flag Nametab, inact., the activator writes the inactive nametab, irrespective of whether a structure change has been made to the table.
Use
During activation, runtime objects (nametabs) are written. Information on objects from the ABAP Dictionary is stored in the nametabs in edited form.
If this flag is selected, these runtime objects are not written immediately on activation, but only after the complete activation process has been concluded. Instead, inactive nametabs are generated.
The advantage of this procedure is that work can continue in the production system during activation.
Note: This flag should only be selected when upgrading. During normal operation selecting this flag may lead to inconsistencies in the system.
