Identification of a subarea to be transferred as selection from a term that appears in the note to payee.

Example

You have stored contract numbers in your system as 7 character numerical keys. In the correspondence for customers however, you place a V- in front of the key. The specification V-1234567 therefore refers to contract 1234567.

In this case, you have entered the negative number 7- in this field. This states that only the last 7 places of the term found are to be used as selection value.

If you worked with the suffix -V instead of the prefix V-, specifying 1234567-V for the customer, here you would have to enter the positive number 7. This states that only the first 7 places of the term found are to be used as selection value.
