Definition

Number of jobs for multiple payroll (four characters).

Supplementary Documentation - NJBMJ 0001

Use

The field "Number of jobs for multiple payroll" specifies how many jobs are created for multiple payroll. If the number of selected reference personnel numbers cannot be divided up exactly among the number of jobs for multiple payroll, the remaining reference personnel numbers are assigned to the last job created.

Procedure

Unfortunately we are unable to recommend a suitable number here as this is mainly dependent on the system configuration.

Examples

The number entered is 2.

The payroll program variant being run determines which and how many personnel numbers are selected by the database. If 1057 personnel numbers are selected, this means that 187 of these are reference personnel numbers.

The program creates two jobs with 94 and 93 reference personnel numbers.

Dependencies

Entries can only be made in this field if the option "Using multiple payroll?" is marked Yes in the program selection screen.

If this is so, you may then specify either the number of personnel numbers per job in multiple payroll, or the number of jobs to be created for multiple payroll. YOu can enter the number of personnel numbers per job or the number of jobs for the "regular" and the multiple payroll runs.

In a payroll run, all appropriate personnel numbers are selected from the database and split into different background jobs.
