Documentation
Definition
Indicates that a navigation profile is used as the initial profile.
Use
The navigation profile that is marked as the default profile is automatically used for list output.
The system uses the following order of priority: User profiles take precedence over standard profiles, which in turn, take precedence over SAP standard profiles. You can make default settings on three levels: For user profiles, standard profiles, and SAP standard profiles.
The system uses the following logic to determine which navigation profile should be used:
- First, the system searches for a user profile that has been selected as a default.
- If no user profile has been selected as a default, the system searches for a standard profile that has been selected as a default.
- If the system does not find a standard profile, it searches for SAP standard profile that has been selected as a default.
Dependencies
Whether a profile can be saved as a default setting and whether it is automatically used when the output list is called, depends on the output list in question (not supported for every list).
