Definition
The bank number is the national standard ID of a bank.
You must select this field if you wish to use the bank number as the bank key. Relevant data is also entered in the SWIFT code field in the bank master data, provided this data is available in the imported file. A prerequisite for using the bank number as the bank key is that the bank key is given value 1 in the country table. Check Customizing for the countries whose bank data is to be imported.
