Definition

Possible item types include:

  • Start: Is always the first item of a treatment pathway
  • End: Is always the last item of a treatment pathway
  • Decision: Alternative treatment processes can be modelled using the decision
  • Join: A join always belongs to a decision. The outgoing connectors of a decision must be reconnected by a join.
  • Action: Describes an action in the treatment process. Actions can be linked with base items, which enables the integration of system functions in a treatment pathway.
  • Group: The group classifies items.
