Definition

Specifies how the action of a step of the patient pathway should be executed when the step is confirmed.

Use

Following settings are possible:

  • Query Before Execution (default)
    When the step is confirmed the system checks whether another action, which has not yet been executed, is connected to the step. If this is the case, the system will query whether the action should be executed.
  • Execute Action
    If the step is connected with an action, which has not yet been executed, the system will execute this action without querying.
  • Do not Execute Action
    The system does not execute the action.

    You select this setting, for example, if a step is connected with a transaction which can also be completed outside of this pathway. The system does not generate a query when you confirm the step.
