Definition

If you select this field, the program works in the following way:

• If there are entries in the LIFO/FIFO file, but no corresponding material master records or valuation segments in the material master, the program deletes the records concerned in the LIFO/FIFO file.
• If there are entries in the LIFO/FIFO file, but the LIFO/FIFO indicator is not selected in the corresponding valuation segment in the material master, the program sets the LIFO/FIFO indicator in the valuation segment in the material master.
• If there are valuation segments in the material master in which the LIFO/FIFO indicator is set, but no corresponding record exists in the LIFO/FIFO file, the program removes the selection of the LIFO/FIFO indicator in the valuation segment in the material master.
• In the case of materials subject to split valuation, the LIFO/FIFO indicator and the pool number in the valuation segments in the material master are set to the respective specification of the totals record for the valuation types.
