Definition
Standard price of the material.
Use
Valuation of material stocks at standard prices has the effect of valuating all goods movements at the same price over a longer period of time.
Procedure
The system posts price variances at goods receipt or invoice receipt (such as purchase price higher than standard price) to price difference accounts. The standard price is therefore not affected.
