Documentation
Definition
You use this parameter to control if purchase orders in foreign currency are adjusted on the key date and which exchange rate is used.
You can choose from the following entries:
- Document exchange rate ('A') -
The system does not adjust the document. This means that all contracts are included in market price determination with their original exchange rates (default setting). - Lowest value: Document exchange rate/Average rate (key date) ('B') -
The system adjusts the document to the average exchange rate. This means that if the average rate on the key date specified results in a lower prices, this is used as the basis for the market price determination instead of the original exchange rate. - Lowest value: Document exchange rate/Bankbuying/Bankselling/Middle rate (key date) ('C') -
The system adjusts the document using the lowest value of the bankbuying rate, bankselling rate, and middle rate. If at least one of these exchange rates results in a lower price on the key date specified, the system uses the one that results in the lowest price as the basis for the market price determination instead of the original exchange rate. - Lowest value: Bankbuying/Bankselling/Middle rate ('D') -
The system uses an exchange rate on the key date specified as the basis for the market price determination in every case. This can be the bankbuying rate, bankselling rate, or middle rate, depending on which results in the lowest price.
