Definition
Specifies the default target storage location that is used for all returns processes in Advanced Returns Management in which the returned goods are posted to a company location with a goods receipt.
Use
This storage location is related to all logistical follow-up activities except those mentioned below. It is used, for example, when you choose the logistical follow-up activity Receive into Plant or Ship to Vendor in a returns order item.
It is used for store returns in general.
Dependencies
You can specify specific storage locations for the logistical follow-up activities:
- Immediately Move to Free Available Stock and Immediately Move to Scrap (Storage Location for Posting to Free Available Stock / Scrap)
- Transfer to Free Available Stock (Storage Location for Transfer to Free Available)
- Transfer to Specified Stock (Storage Location for Transfer to Specified Stock)
You can also specify a special stock type for goods receipt postings in the receiving plant for store returns.
