Definition

Indicates the quantity of the material that you returned to a vendor and for which you receive a replacement material.

Use

In Advanced Returns Management the Replaced Quantity is also used to control whether you have received compensation for the entire returned quantity.

Dependencies

Example

Normally, when you get a replacement material for a returned material, the replacement material quantity is related to the entire returned quantity. However, sometimes the replacement is given only for a subquantity of the returned quantity, for example if the vendor does not have the full quantity on stock. In this case this subquantity of the returned quantity represents the Replaced Quantity. The remaining quantity is then usually compensated with a credit memo.
