Documentation
Definition
Specifies a block that you can set for a delivery item in the Material Inspection in Warehouse transaction within Advanced Returns Management in order to prevent the creation of the logistical follow-up documents associated with the specified follow-up activity.
Use
You can use the block if you want to postpone the creation of follow-up documents to a later point in time. You can then select blocked delivery items, remove the block and continue the processing.
Dependencies
If you set a follow-up activity block, the system sets the overall inspection status in the navigation tree to status 1, Blocked.
Example
Certain returned materials need to be reviewed by an external appraiser before a decision about the follow-up activities can be made. In this case, you can block the follow-up activity for the corresponding inspection item and thus prevent the start of this activity. You can find blocked inspection items using the inspections selection screen.
