Documentation
Definition
Indicates that the system automatically posts a goods movement from the returns stock to the repair order stock for the external repair order that it created when you specified External Repair as the logistical follow-up activity for a delivery item or an inspection split item in the Material Inspection in Warehouse transaction within Advanced Returns Management.
If you select this checkbox, the goods are posted to the storage location for the external repair order that represents repair stock physically located at the subcontracting vendor.
Use
Dependencies
So that this parameter becomes effective, you must also select Goods Movement from Returns Stock to Repair Order Stock in the Customizing settings for the follow-up activity External Repair.
If you only select the Goods Movement from Returns Stock to Repair Order Stock checkbox, the storage location remains unchanged in the goods movement posting to the external repair order stock.
