Definition
If the SQL Server parameter min server memory has been set to 0, then this field is set to AUTO, meaning SQL Server will automatically use the memory it requires. If min server memory is set equal to max server memory, then this field is set to FIXED, meaning SQL Server will use exactly the memory specified by these 2 parameters. The other value is RANGE, which means SQL Server will use memory in a range between these 2 parameter settings.
