Definition
Use this field to control the minimum amount of memory SQL Server can use. On installations were SQL Server runs on a dedicated computer, the SQL Server default, 0, can be used. On computers running SQL Server and various SAP work processes, this value should be 45 % of the available memory on the computer, and equal to the maximum amount of memory allocated to SQL Server. On computers running SQL Server and only UPDATE SAP work processes, this value should be 40 %.
