Definition
Use this field to control the maximum amount of memory SQL Server can use. On installations were SQL Server runs on a dedicated computer, the SQL Server default ( a large number ) can be used. On computers running SQL Server and various SAP work processes, this value should be 45 percent of the available memory on the computer. On computers runningSQL and UPDATE SAP work processes, the setting should be 65 percent.
