Messages that can be set provide the user the option of influencing the way the system outputs a message. For these messages that can be set, the user can choose the type of message (S, I, W, E or A) the system outputs. To enable this, the developer has to enter the allowed message types in this field, so that the user can select them in view V_T100C.
Example
If you want a message to be output either as warning or error message, you need to enter 'WE'.
