Definition
This indicator shows whether you can reserve material numbers via the CAD interface.
Use
- If this indicator is set, function RSRVE is called and the next available material number from the number range for the material type entered is reserved.
- If no material type is entered when the function is called, the material type in field MCART in table TCIS is used to determine the number range.
Dependencies
No material master record is created when you reserve a material number in the SAP System. You reserve a material number to ensure that you can create a material master record with the reserved number via the CAD interface later on.
