Definition

specifies the date when the price change is valid.

Use

If you want to revaluate materials as part of balance sheet valuation, the valuation price for the fiscal year must be changed as well as the current valuation price.

Procedure

Enter the posting date for the price change. It is usually the day on which the batch input session is processed.

Please note: if the date is before the processing period, only the price for the corresponding previous period is changed; the current valuation price is not altered.

Use

If you want to revaluate materials using FIFO valuation, you have to change the price in the material master. You can determine the date on which the change takes effect via the posting date.
