Definition

Employees are divided into groups to facilitate absence valuation. It is then possible to define different absence valuation rules for each grouping.

Employee groupings are created in the payroll system using personnel calculation rules, which are called up from schemas by the function MOD. Grouping values are set by operation MODIF A.

Use

Values '01' and '02' are reserved for German payroll accounting. The rules under the modifier '02' apply to nightshift core-time workers, that is, to employees who started work before midnight.
Otherwise, the rules under modifier '01' are valid.
